Sustainable Agricultural Water Management: addressing food security and social instability in Pakistan
Closing Conference of the SAWaM-Pak program financed by the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development. Besides introducing the outcomes of the SAWaM-Pak project, the objective is to allow further networking and enhance the broader awareness of practitioners, farmers, researchers, and policy makers to accelerate adoption of improved agricultural practices and technologies to meet current and future constraints imposed by climate changes, supporting small farmers’ livelihood and incomes. Furthermore, the conference will also provide a valuable opportunity to expand Institutions’ capacity to address current and future development challenges, as well as to lay the foundation for further future cooperation.
The Italian Ambassadors, H.E. Stefano Pontecorvo, and the Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation are set to take part in the Inaugural Ceremony.
